About Us

The Lighting Center at Charlie's Locker was formerly Causeway Lighting Center. We opened our store in 1998 in S. E. Fort Lauderdale, in the Southport Shopping Plaza, where the need for specialty lightbulbs, yacht & marine lighting, nautical/tropical lamps, replacement lampshades & lamp repair was high.

While working in the area, and being in the center of everything nautical since the early 80's, we saw the need for lighting in the "hub" of the yachting community. We have a loyal, customer following since our goal has always been Customer Service & fulfilling the wants and needs of our customers.

As the shopping center became empty, we made a move to Miami Road. Now, we are in a new, permanent location in the Harbor Shops, just South of 17th Street and just blocks from Port Everglades. We have joined with long established Charlie's Locker, Nautical Outfitters, which has also been a family-owned business for many years.
